Cooper Elementary Longfellow Creek Poetry Project

At the time of this poetry project Cooper Elementary School was located in Seattle, Washington just three blocks from Longfellow Creek. Cooper students participated in salmon releases, tree plantings, and science class related field trips to the creek. In 1996 the students and staff published the Longfellow Creek Poetry Project to record the observations, feelings and experiences related to their explorations.
