| Longfellow CreekLongfellow Creek is one of only four remaining large "open" creeks in Seattle capable of sustaining salmon runs. A variety of clean-up/restoration efforts have been underway for a number of years. Local school children have been releasing baby salmon into the creek since 1990 and in the fall of 1995, fish began returning to the creek for the first time since 1939. | |||||||||||||||
